The Ruko HSS machine taps are used for through & bottoming threads in unalloyed steels to a strength of 800 N/mm². The thread is cut in a single operation. The Cobalt (5%) content provides greater heat resistance and the tap can be used in unalloyed and alloy steels to a strength of 1000 N/mm².
